Here's the secret: It doesn't mean anything. People telling you that it does are mistaken, and in several cases they are probably trying to sell you something.
The Bible says the moon will turn the color of dark red on the day Jesus Christ returns (Revelation 6:12). We know we aren't in the end-times because the Anti-Christ isn't sitting in the holy temple of Jerusalem (2 Thessalonians 2:1-5).
Don't be deceived! By studying Bible prophecy carefully, accurately, fully, and in context, you will learn what is or isn't true. Then you will know not to jump at every atmospheric event.
If the people who say the rapture happens at the start of the end-times are right, then we Christians won't even be here to see the red moon. If the people who say that the rapture happens at the end of the end-times are right, then we'll see dozens of signs long before the red moon happens.
