God's Love Is More Powerful Than Bad Parenting

I always feel badly for kids whose lives are turned upside-down by the sins of a sinning parent. The one thing that keeps me from becoming completely sour about the child's future is my faith that God can mercifully interact and intervene with the child directly. Christians with good parents have a hard time empathizing with this truth, but for some of us, Jesus saved us from one or both of our parents. God's love is more powerful than the sins of our parents.
