We just looked at Ezekiel 4 last night, in our Wednesday night Bible stud/prayer time. Ezekiel predicts how long Babylon's siege of Jerusalem will last, down to the day (390 days). When you study the real prophecies from God, and you see their characteristics (like exactness, provability, and knowing the naturally-unknowable), it makes you realize what an avalanche of rambling blather is spilling out of the mouths of people who stand up in meetings and claim to "prophesy."When you compare them to Bible prophesying, it becomes obvious that the things they say are spewing out of their own fevered imaginations.
