GOD-GLORIFYING WORSHIP: Proclaiming God’s worth by what we say and how we live and serve – both as individuals and when we meet together. We worship so that our eyes are lifted to our glorious God, our hearts are cleansed by the grace of God, and our feet follow in the mission of God.
BIBLE-CENTERED TEACHING: God’s Word systematically and carefully taught and applied to our lives because it is God’s special revelation to His people for their guidance and growth.
GOD-CREATED HUMANITY: Humanity is both beautiful and broken. Beautiful because God created mankind in His image, in only two sexes - male and female; broken by the sin that entered the world through Adam and Eve’s rebellion. Now humanity’s relationship with God, others, and the creation is broken by their sin and ours. But God provided the Redeemer, Jesus, for the salvation of all who turn to Him in faith.
SALVATION BY GRACE ALONE, THROUGH FAITH ALONE, IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE: The only way of salvation is by trusting in the redemptive work of Jesus – His sinless life, atoning death, and resurrection. Through His work, we can be restored to a right relationship with God.
CHRIST-CENTERED TRANSFORMATION: God working in us & through us to see our lives, relationships, homes, city & nation changed by His power and for His glory.
THE GOD-DESIGNED CHUCH: By God’s grace, He has called out His people into His Church. The Church is central to God’s eternal plan, so it should be central to the lives of His people as they engage in His unstoppable mission.
GRACE-GROUNDED RELATIONSHIPS: We are interconnected by God’s grace and must show that grace as we interact with each other.
EVER-EXPANDING WITNESS: Reaching out individually & together - locally & globally - with the story and the message of our Risen King, Jesus, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
GOD-DEPENDENT PRAYER: Keeping our communication with God open and real and God-focused. It is grounded in who God is and His priorities for our lives.
TRUTH-ANCHORED RELEVANCE: We face today's challenges with the unchanging Truth of God. Anchored in that Truth, we call people to repentance and faith in Jesus as we share in ways they understand.
OPEN-HANDED GENEROSITY: Having experienced God’s grace, we graciously and generously use our time, abilities & material resources to minister here & around the world.
ETERNITY-ROOTED HOPE: Looking beyond this life to the restoration of all things in a new heaven and new earth when Jesus returns, we live ready for His return. A new universe is in our future, so we live like it in the present.
