We Christian parents should remember that our children are not soft-clay figurines, or robots. They can reach out to Jesus Christ for themselves, and Christ can enable them to become better people than we are! Or, they also have the terrible God-given power to say "No" to God -- and their "No" is not mechanically caused by family environment, but completely due to their own thinking and desires. Our kids are free-will beings. We should remember this, if we're ever tempted to boast in ourselves, or tempted to judge other parents.
