Justification in the Bible is more than just forgiveness of sins past. It is God's final verdict on whether you will deserve everlasting life when final judgment falls. When God declares you "just', it means you don't have to wait until after you're dead to find out if you made it. You have already made it. God has declared, because your entire trial has been completed and you were found innocent.
